The team at the Brewers Association of Australia is responsible for delivering the Board’s strategic priorities and is dedicated to working proactively and constructively with governments, industry, community groups and the media to improve appreciation of the contribution the beer sector makes to modern Australia – economically, socially and environmentally.

Sarah – Project Manager

Sarah joined the Brewers Association in August 2016.

She spent 15 years working in the fields of Information Technology, Sales and Operations Management in the pharmaceuticals industry in Sydney.

Prior to that, Sarah was a retail trainer for NSW lotteries. With Brewers, she manages the day-to-day operations and annual events of the Association.

During 2016 and 2017, Sarah managed a major project in the Tasmania Beer Trail – a joint venture between the Brewers Association and the Tasmanian Government, promoting beer from grain to glass across the Apple Isle.

Sarah manages several special events, including the State of Origin, Brewers Nights and Taste of Tasmania events at Parliament House on behalf of Brewers.

mick gibb – chief executive officer

Mick joins the Brewers Association following a successful tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), where he led a period of significant growth, strengthened industry advocacy and delivered major policy reforms benefiting Australia’s hospitality, entertainment and night-time economy sectors.

A highly respected corporate affairs, communications and advocacy leader, Mick brings more than 13 years of experience spanning chief executive leadership, government relations, public policy, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications across industry associations, financial services, technology and politics.

Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of business, government and community, building a reputation as a trusted advocate and effective industry leader.
